No matter what you’re trying to sell, it’s important that you build your reputation so you’re perceived as well informed about your specialty. When people shop online, they’re often wary of buying from anyone they can’t be sure is trustworthy.
This is exactly why you should aim at becoming an authority or an expert in your targeted niche. But for the majority, this task seems impossible since they know nothing about the niche they want to enter into. How, then, can you accomplish transforming yourself into an authority in a short time?
Start A Blog: Look at the leading experts in any niche you can think of, and you’ll observe that almost all of them have blogs, so this should be a clue for you. A well made blog is a brilliant tool to build your expertise in any niche, because it shows what you’ve got. Your readers will get a clear idea as to what they can expect from you and how much you actually know about that field.
Your blog is an opportunity to create lots of free content for your readers, which helps establish your credibility. Your whole objective with having a blog is to create an authority and have people trust you. Another advantage is that it makes you accessible to your readers, as they can always interact with you whenever they want.
Starting a blog, then, is one of the most important actions you can take to build your status as an expert.
Social Media Sites: Social media gives you the ideal chance to build your expert status, no matter what field you’re in. Websites like Twitter and Facebook are a great way to build your follower base, and create a strong impression on the crowds. When you’re on Twitter, for example, you have the ability to develop valuable relationships with your followers and build your brand awareness, aside from being able to broadcast tweets. You can build up your list of targeted followers and become known as an expert as you share your ideas, links and other content.
Having a fan page on Facebook, meanwhile, gives you a simple way for people to stay updated on everything you do. Your page gives you the opportunity to post status updates and messages, and your fans can contribute wall posts as well. Facebook even provides you with thorough statistics about how your page is performing.
Interview Other Experts: This is a great way to increase your own expertise while already looking like an expert. Your audience will see that you are already pretty knowledgeable when you interview known authorities in your niche. Publishing the contents of your interviews will allow others to see how well you questioned the other expert.
So if you’re committed to the goal of being an expert in your field, take it step by step and you’ll see the rewards soon enough.

Niche Socializer is quite an interesting concept you know? For once we are not being presented with software to automate Adwords coming from Steven Lee Jones and Andrew X which was in my opinion one of the biggest flops you could ever think of. I am talking about Google Ambush here. The latest ‘super duper all in one go click here and get rich Adwords automation software’… All the hype. And, for what? Literally all people who bought their software using my link had refunded pretty soon after they bought it.
I send most of them an email asking why it was they refunded. It was not so that most of them thought the software was ‘bad’ or not functioning, they just did not want to spend money on Adwords or, they were not ready to work with sophisticated software as they thought Google Ambush to be.
Because, have they come up with something clever or what?
We know about niche marketing. And, we know about social networking. Both are smashing hits and reflect a multi billion commercial market world wide.
