My Clickbank Business & Why you should NOT buy it.

My Clickbank Business? Not so long ago, just like all other advanced marketers out there, I received a joint venture invitation from Andrew X and Steven Lee Jones about their new upcoming product called “My Clickbank Business”.

Andrew X and Steven Lee Jones are the same people who have created other products like Niche Socializer, Google Ambush and Google Massacre…

When a product seems to be alright to recommend to people, I would not mind promoting it on my blogs since it could help my readership and, while at it, make some commissions too. That is what internet marketing is about, right?

However, the product I promote should have quality in all regards.

Looking back at what Steven and Andrew have launched before this myclickbankbusiness product is what made me think twice before promoting them again.

First of all, I received some very disturbing comments on a post I did about Niche Socializer.

Read more about REAL Consumer reports about Niche Socializer here and here and, prepare to be shocked.

Then, I had a look at all of the sales I personally made while promoting their previous products…

ALL people had refunded. ALL of them. What does that say? Right, something is fishy..

So, after all that, I decided to send them an email requesting to review My Clickbankbusiness prior to promoting it this time around.

The mail I send:

Hi guys,
yes, i do have a question.
would you have me review the whole program before i promote it? i have received many, many bad feedback from for instance niche socializer… bad product, worse customer service etc. etc. not to be a prick… but, for me to promote this i would like to know more about what i am promoting this time.
thanks,

walt

Nothing wrong with that, right? And, I got an answer too:

Hi Walt,

Thanks for the email.
Just so I know, when you say “many bad feedback” what do you mean?
You had 2 customers yourself… so Im just wondering who complained to you about Niche Socializer. Just both of those?
It’s just we’ve had JV partners with many many more customers and did not hear any complaints.
We had full time support teams working, and still do. We reply to tickets within 24 hours. We offer dedicated technical support free of charge too.
And to be honest, I would not trust any one that said NS is a bad product. The person that said that must have missed the 30 hours of videos in the members area and not have bothered using their 3 licenses.
But yes, I realize, irrespective of the product, you can never please everyone… especially the tyre kickers in this niche :(
We do try our best though.
I will see what I can do about the review copy for you.
Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew for trying to make someone feel as small as a pea. But, besides that, since that does not bother me, I was wondering why it was I did not get a review copy to actually review it prior to promoting it.

I send this mail back:

Hi,
besides the ‘two’ customers.. I run a few blogs…
There was a discussion going on about it.
I am well aware of the kickers.
But also recognize real complaints.
I have done promotions before from you, resulting in more than just two… and, all of them…. refunded.
It is ok if you do not want to give me a review copy.
Never mind.
Thanks,
Walter

On which I got an answer yet again:

Hi Walter,
Sorry, I was curious and always appreciate feedback, good or bad. So thanks!
I will tell you why I’m a little surprised.
Our refund rate was the lowest I have ever heard of for a high ticket launch in the IM niche.
It seriously was very low, and comparable to the refund rate of some of the top $77 IM products on Clickbank. Well, if all your buyers refund, including those that bought our previous products too, it may not be best for your time to promote. Again, just being honest and looking out for your time. I really really encourage you to sign up for a membership to  ww.GoogleAmbush.com and take a look at the quality of stuff we release. This was our previous product to NS.  You can get a 7 day trial for $5 and then request a cancelation/refund to CB before those days are over. Also, www.GoogleMassacre.com is a phenomenal product, and is a PPC thesis. Again, this product came before Google Ambush.
Let me know what you think if you do take a look.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Funny… Since first of all, these where the products I noticed that ALL my customers had returned and refunded. A few emails later to those customers I learned that it was due to bad customer service and an ocean full of other reasons as to why they refunded…

And, funny since I was a JV partner on those products and actually received access to those products from the creators themselves…

I send Andrew this mail, and it was the last that was mentioned about it. I did not receive any more mails from them…

Hi Andrew,
That is so kind of you.
Where it not that I AM a member on ambush and that I have gotten Massacre from you centuries before now. (I got these being a JV partner) I guess, being a JV partner means nothing more nowadays than being a simple affiliate number, ey? I must have just gotten unlucky with your launches that I referred only the refunding peeps to buy.  Anyways, as said… never mind.
Walt

What does this all have to do with not buying My Clickbank Business?

If you are really interested in all of that, I advise you to visit the Warrior Internet Marketing Forum and read first hand from users what they think about My Clickbank Business.

A little searching on this forum will teach you that Niche Socializer DID indeed have high refund rates, and that it was in fact pirated, or stolen rather, from php.fox.

Allow me to quote a few comments about My Clickbank Business and, about the way business is done…

Re: MyClickbankBusiness.com

* – You’re going to get the same landing pages, sales copy, content, auto responder series, free report, etc as hundreds of other affiliates. Google will most likely hate these websites when they hit the web. Do you really want to compete with hundreds of other affiliates who have the SAME websites?

* – I’ve bought it and so far I can’t get hold of any support. I think they need a forum. Current all I have is an email address and a message saying they’ll get back in 24hrs.

* – i to had bought myclickbankbusiness and i have sent them two email and its now 48hours but no reply. i too have no other contact of them.

* – Unfortunately, I simply wanted to accelerate my CPA marketing efforts and did actually spend the $497 at myclickbankbusiness.com based on the recommendation of some “super” affiliates. As mentioned by someone else too, I got to the point of the MCB team actually loading two sites for me on dedicated servers, but failed to provide me with FTP access to those servers. The two sites are both live and useless at the moment. It has now been 2 days since any e-mail reply or support activity from MCB. Either they failed miserably at launch, or they took the money and ran. Either way, it’s an example of what NOT to do in a launch. Also note that the UK-based payment processing converts $497 to pounds or euros resulting in a USD$512 charge. Nice.

* – I have heard NOTHING….  Nothing has been configured on my server…  I have written three very polite emails to their support department and have had no answer at all…

And, this is just a cut out of the big pie.

If you want some good feedback on the My Clickbank Business I advise you read this.

It is funny to see that the post starts with:

Hi folks,

Just got email from MyClickBankBusiness.com

Be alerted – the same folks behind NicheSocializer.

Seriously, do not buy My Clickbank Business.

Oh, and then you wonder as to why other gurus and internet marketers DO promote it? They simply do not give a flying hoot. They see and smell money. They get invited in the JV promotion, receive the promo emails, hit send to their lists and generate thousands of dollars in commissions within days…

In this internet marketing game, there are two teams. The team of the gurus, and the team of the customers. Frankly, most of you are in the team of the customers. You guys pay, while the other team, the gurus, make money together over your backs. Team 1 wins ALWAYS, team 2 PAYS always.

Pretty sick.

PS: If you wanted to really learn how to become a successful internet marketer, I suggest you check out  the Howies Apprentice 4 Program, or await the launch of Commission Bueprint 2.0 which both have PROVEN to be great value. And, I mean in fantastic results from real users of the above two programs.

      Hello,

I was looking to get more info on my clickbank business and am glad i found you.

It seems you saved me a lot of hassle.

I took your advise and got hooked up with Howie!

I got accepted as Howies Apprentice. :)

      I am so excited!

      Thank you.

      Hank.

      Hi Walt,

Interesting post, but I have had fantastic results with Andrew and Steven’s products and thought I should give my personal experience.

I think Andrew’s response to you was more than reasonable…

      “Hi Walter,

and as a member of Google Ambush for the past 6 months I completely agree with Andrew as it is a very good product. I even bought Google Massacre and found that to be a superb book. Have you read it?

      Have you seen Google Ambush?

And yes, I took the plunge and bought My Clickbank business and have really enjoyed it so far. the videos are great, the products seem to be great quality, and its not hard to edit the page so it looks unique. Your comment about Google is misleading, and is not how Google will view these products at all. If you spent 15 minutes changing a bit of the copy, it’s all good :)

You may not post this because it is a positive reply to their products, but I hope you do, as too much negativity is found on the web… and in my experience, they’ve been great.

      Many thanks,

      Albert

      Hi Albert,

How nice it is to see you here.

First, you say: You may not post this because it is a positive reply to their products..

What do you think I am doing here? Just bashing products from them? Nope, I am giving info what I have found. I am not bashing anything.

If you would have read my post, you would have seen that yes, I did see Google Ambush and Massacre.

It is not my comment about Google, it is what I have found others to be writing.

Do me a favor and please show me (privately if you wish) your results from the new program.

While we are at it. What is your thought about Niche Socializer then? Do you think it was piracy? I am not sure as I can not imagine them doing that?

Thanks Albert, hope to see you come back.

      Walt

I cannot tell you just how disappointed I am in this product. I feel completely scammed and have sent a dozen emails to support@myclickbankbusiness.com and have gotten very little help. My sites are all messed up and have been since day one when they uploaded them. I am in a stall mate with them and being held at their mercy. It just isn’t fair… I paid good money for a site that does not work. All I really got for my $500 is a bunch of junk in my email box. Oh, and then there the additional expenses that come along with the program… Its almost been a month and I still cannot get this resolved. The bottom line is that this is there product, why the FU#K can’t they get it to work!!! I get nothing but excuses from there so called tech department. I have just sent my last email to them before I start blogging comments and posting videos about this company. I have too much money out of pocket to not be very pissed at these guys/\. If this is their product why can’t they just get it right. Hey if you could send this email to Andrew, maybe he will man up because the rest of his company seems pretty limp to me!!! Tom

    6. Tom on September 3rd, 2009 11:51 pm

Does anyone know the address of these guys so I can file complaints with the Better Business Bureau? Also can you list all the names associated with this product. I am going to make a You Tube video For them they will never forget!!!

    7. Chris Peterson on September 4th, 2009 9:51 pm

      Thank You!

I was getting ready to invest in My Clickbank Business. As an internet marketer, I should have known better than to get swayed into purchasing something that sounds to good to be true.

Luck for me, I found your blog.

      Thanks

    8. Samantha on September 5th, 2009 12:06 am

      Hello,

My name is Samantha and as many others, I was enticed to go ahead and buy My Clickbank Business…

Until I found out what was going on.

I took your advise and went over to Howie Schwartz. I signed up and I can tell you that I was approved to become Howies new Apprentice.

I really wanted to thank you for it since it is truly awesome what Howie offers. It seems they mean business.

I can`t believe it that I will be working alongside him and his project managers AND that they will kick my booty so that I too can become successful.

Looking at the previous people … I think this might just be it!!

      Thank you very much.

    9. SuG on September 8th, 2009 2:55 am

I have NOTHING but complaints about MyClickbank Business.com:

They launched WAY too early! The websites were not working, upsell products were not included, files were missing from the FTP folders, and more …

Thier customer service simply SUCKS! I requested my site to be uploaded on a Monday and didn’t get a response AT ALL. Finally one day I happened to go to the URL and it miraculously appeared. Still … no email or notification that it was up and LIVE!

While trying to configure my website, most pages returned numerous errors and again … NO RESPONSE! Follow-up emails were sent … NO RESPONSE!

Finally, i had to have my brother fix the code for me. (thanks Adam). Otherwise, I would still be waiting for a response.

Each product comes with an upsell product to hook buyers into spending more money, but lo and behold … no upsell product included in the FTP files.

I am requesting a refund (there is a 30-day money back guarantee), so we’ll see how long it takes to reply to THAT! lol. I’m not going to hold my breath.

The better business bureau will be contacted after 3 business days with no response.

AT least emails track date and time stamps, otherwise I could foresee them saying “you didn’t request the refund within 30 days”.

I’ll stop by again once i get my refund to tell you about the (most likely) horrendous experience.

Point of this rant …… DON’T BUY IT!!!

    10. Big Internet Marketing on September 8th, 2009 5:30 am

I am sorry to hear all of this folks. If you want serious material and coaching then Check out Jeff Johnson. This guy is just like Howie Schwartz. He is the top of the top and has thousands of successful students! I won`t say it again ;) Howie and Jeff are two people you can seriously become successful with.

    11. SuG on September 10th, 2009 6:03 pm

      Here’s an update:

I sent an email requesting my full refund and got an email back faster than you can imagine. Of course they respond when you’re asking for your money back. THEY WANT TO TALK YOU OUT OF IT! When they are about to lose money, their customer service actually responds.

So, my last email to them was “please process the refund”. And guess what? …. NO RESPONSE!

I sent a follow up today. We’ll see if they respond. I’m pretty pissed off right now ….

    12. Josh Harris on September 17th, 2009 2:33 am

      Walt,

I do not view their initial reply as a slagging in your regards; he addressed your points in a way that seemed reasonable.

While 2 customers would not, in my book, qualify as many customers… you may well say that ALL your clients refunded. Ok, so that is 100%… but still, 2 people is not many.

Luck of the draw? Yes, no? Either way, it has no bearing on the stories and reccountings we are reading in your forum about their experiences about MCB.

      Why?

It goes completely in the face of all that the publishers of the programme claim. I do not know the facts, and it would appear from their reply that the programme indeed did quite well.

But the comments seen here indicate that notwithstanding their (apparent) past succesful programme, this one flopped miserably. To hear that emails are not answered until 48 hours, or websites are not provided with FTP details, etc… when this is paramount to both the seriousness of the company’s reputation, as well as the necessity of functionality the client needs to USE the programme… well, allow me to say that this is unacceptable.

As a businessman, I have always believed that fidelisation of customers is the fundamental step in creating an LTV (Life Time Value). This is achieved through firstly offering a quality product that provides value, but (and I say this especially as being true) the post-sale support is what really distinguishes a company from another.

If this is the way these guys do business, they need to remember just one thing: people have short memories, and thus, you are only as good as your most recent product.

      Meditate.

      -Joshua Harris

      Beyond that, issues are others.

First of all, I have not heard well

    16. Patrick on August 4th, 2011 11:42 am

Unfortunately this product has come around again.

I has been rebranded and is an option in a new high profile product by Anik Singal called Commission Domination.

Its not core to Commission Domination, but presented as an option in both the upsell as well as within the CD platform itself.

I mistakenly signed up for the 7 day trail. Before you know it they have your CC number.

Once I got the pacakage and realized it had nothing to do with the core product and was simply this old dog rebranded on the sales letter( no actually rebranded in the system) I tried to cancel.

Guess what.. there’s no place to cancel. Theres no email address, no support id, the purchase didnt go through paypal or CB. So there is virtually no way to cancel

There is an email for CD support and I’ve written 2 emails over to them and have not even had a reply. 48 hours no reply.

      Ugh.

Stay away from these scam artists.

      Patrick
