I claimed a domain. But wait… I did not?

Well what the heck in holy Italy happened to me today? I claimed a domain I wanted to have to expand one of my marketing campaings with.

I usually use my credit card to claim domains online and so I did this last night as well. All seemed to be going ok. I was getting the order confirmation and all. Until… I got a message telling me that they could not verify my credit card.

One thing I can tell you… There is enough to go for thousands of domains on those cards of mine…

So, I was like.. Hmm. Must be some kind of error. My registrar site opted that I might have made a typo. But that was practically impossible.

I decided to log in to my bank backoffice to see whether or not all my credit was stripped or .. what the heck was going on and why my credit cards were not to be verified for this bleeding $7.50.

Mind you, the domain I wanted REALLY bad. not exaggerating… but this domain would have made me a lot of money I can assure you.

Anyways, I logged in to my bank system to see that there ain\t NO credit cards IN the ********** account all together…

WTF?

Both my credit cards had vanished..

I was unable to pay for the domain as of yet. i kept trying since I knew there was enough credit and so on. Until about three o´clock in the after noon.

Take note: I placed the order and attempted to pay for it more than 12 hours before and finally it seemed to have gone true.

Or, did it?

Nope…

Someone else claimed the domain in the time that the credit card company had a glitch.

What can I do?

I claimed and practically PAID for the domain. But, what did I end up with?

I ended up with $7.25 pre paid credit in my domain registrar account and, the domain is registered by someone else.

Is there a way I can get this un done?
